Framed Artwork Available At Alton Country Store

You know, it’s funny how things work. I was talking to a friend, who’s very creative, and we were comparing notes on artsy type stuff. She always has a good take on what looks good and I respect her opinion. Anyway, she’s showing me this new display of signs she’s got at the new Alton Country Store. It’s cool, I said, it’s very New England-y and Pinterest-y. We were talking about the upcoming Wolfeboro Craft Fair I am doing in August, and she always has good input on what would look good. A few days go by, and my wife and I were talking about signage for said craft fair. I’m looking at these fancy vinyl roll up display things, and none of them scream “yes” to me. If you know me, you can see the face I am making as I am sitting at my computer, getting aggravated, trying to come up with something cool that is good representation of my brand. My wife pipes up from her painting she’s working on; “why don’t you get Heather to make you one?”

Dawn breaks over Marblehead.

I can’t close my browser fast enough, while DM’ing Heather at the same time. “Hey, can you do this for me?” Yup comes the reply.

After the Fourth of July, I call Heather up and discuss the sign with her. Then she has another bombshell to drop on me. The woman that owns the Alton Country Store is someone I work with at Bank Of NH Pavilion. Shut up !! Well, that took me a matter of a day to track down Rachel to ask her about it, and sure enough she has a little bit of space left that would be perfect for me.

I set up my display today.

I think it’s cool how social circles intersect.

So, if you would like to see some of my artwork in person, head on over to the Alton Country Store! They’ve got all kinds of neat things. Be sure to ask them about the “Just the tip” branded Alton Bay clothing and glassware. Be sure to check out Heather’s signage too.
